Frequently asked questions

Does VisionFab replace Vision?

No. Two answers to two needs. Vision remains the recommended path to create and evolve your business applications yourself, without code: that is most projects. VisionFab is for projects that require ownership of the code, an installation on your premises, or logic beyond what a platform covers.

How do I choose between Vision and VisionFab?

Vision (no-code) is for you if you want to create and evolve your applications yourself, without a developer; if your business teams must be able to change screens, workflows and data on their own; and if you are looking for the fastest, most economical path to digitalise your processes. Discover the Vision platform.

VisionFab is your path if you want custom applications in real code, with the source handed over; deployment on your servers, up to isolated sites; equipping your business teams without losing governance; and starting from proven business modules rather than a blank page. The two platforms talk over APIs: choosing one does not exclude the other.

An application written by an AI: is that reliable?

That is exactly why the factory exists. The application is not written freely: it is built on secured foundations, then submitted to mandatory checks, including simulated attacks, before any delivery. One check fails? It does not ship. A human review validates every delivery. You receive the security report with the application.

What happens if we stop the subscription?

Everything keeps running. You keep the application, its source code and your data. You only give up security updates, support and evolutions. The exit is real: it is a design principle, not a hidden clause.

Do we need IT skills in-house?

No. A standard machine on your premises is enough, and we handle installation, monitoring and updates. If you have an IT team, it keeps control of everything; if you do not, the application is administered from a simple screen, no command line. And if you prefer to delegate everything, our teams build the application turnkey: you validate at every milestone, you stay master of the need, never hostage to the technology.

Our developers already use Copilot or Claude Code. Why VisionFab?

Let them keep their tools. A code assistant speeds up writing; it does not handle secure deployment, cross-application access rights, security maintenance over time, or requirements traceability. VisionFab is the platform where their applications land: your developers can create and publish to your runtime from Claude Code thanks to our VisionFab kit (see « For teams » above; Codex being validated), with the same contract and the same checks as applications generated by business users. The tool writes code; the platform makes applications exist.

How is the application maintained over time?

Our factory continuously monitors vulnerabilities discovered in your application’s components, builds the fixes, fully re-tests them and delivers them to you. Nothing to do on your side, and nothing is opened to the outside either.
