Frequently asked questions

Can we import the existing asset repository from our ERP or CMMS?
Yes. Visionsoft has API connectors for the leading CMMS and ERPs on the market (SAP, DimoMaint, Carl Source, Coswin) as well as a universal CSV import. Repository migration is included in the standard deployment and done in less than a week for portfolios of up to several thousand pieces of equipment.
Does the application cover both real-estate and technical assets at the same time?
Yes. Visionsoft’s tree lets you structure both levels in parallel: buildings, rooms and areas on one side, technical equipment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, etc.) on the other – with links between them to associate each equipment with its room or building.
Which regulatory obligations are covered natively?
The main registers covered include: pressure equipment, electrical installations (articles R.4226), lifting equipment (lifting inspections), elevators and lone-worker alarms, fire safety systems, HVAC and cooling networks, and any equipment requiring a configurable inspection frequency. Regulatory deadlines are configurable by your business teams.
Can we manage several geographic sites in the same application?
Yes. Visionsoft is designed for multi-site: each site has its scope, teams, contractors and management rules, while sharing a common repository and dashboards consolidated across the portfolio. Access rights are granular by site and by profile.
What’s the difference with a classic CMMS like Maximo or DimoMaint?
Visionsoft doesn’t replace your CMMS – it complements it. A CMMS covers work orders and equipment well. What it doesn’t do easily: business workflows specific to your organization, consolidated asset reporting, custom regulatory compliance processes and offline mobile apps tailored to your sites.
