Today, we’ll show you how to control Visionsoft with your thoughts (or almost) to generate a comprehensive PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) handover report.
The goal?
To move from a vague request to a precise management tool in three natural iterations.
Note that in this example, Vision Copilot was first asked to create the PPE management application, and that Copilot generated the entire data model and the entire PPE management application. This will be the subject of another blog post in the coming days 🙂
Step 1: The initial intention
It all starts with a simple need: visibility. Instead of digging through Excel spreadsheets, you ask the Visionsoft interface directly:
“Create a summary report (in HTML) of the PPE deliveries to date, then make it available for download.”
At this stage, Vision’s Copilot AI – which has access to available data structures – generates the query to display your stock and allocation data and ultimately to generate a clean web page, listing who received what.
Step 2: Anticipating the future
This first report is already great!
Let’s add another interesting table with a new prompt:
“Adds the equipment that will soon need replacing.”
Vision Copilot finds where date information is stored, understands it, and generates the query to extract the correct information and generate an alert if necessary.
The report dynamically incorporates an “Alerts” section or a coloured column to identify planned replacements within the next 30 days.
Step 3: Swiss (or French!) precision
The devil is in the details. To ensure the report is perfectly readable by your HR or security teams, we adjust the formatting:
“sets dates to DD/MM/YYYY format”
And just like that! In a fraction of a second, Anglo-Saxon or raw formats disappear in favor of a natural and standardized reading.
